A little bit of information about me:
I am a Senior Lecturer in English Education at Roehampton University and I am currently working towards a PhD at the Insitute of Education, University of London. My research examines the potential uses of Alternate Reality Gaming in education and explores the literacy and learning practices that children develop as they create and play an ARG with and for their peers.
I’ve worked with the children and young people of South London in a variety of settings over the years, both educational and recreational. I began this work as a classroom assistant in a Camberwell school. I later became a Teenage Literature Development Worker in Southwark and a class teacher in Lambeth.
